Here's a short paragraph from the The Sunday Times in the 'Reflect' forum.

It goes like this...
".....When a dream comes true, you don't always get the happiness you thought would come with it;
.....Happiness is not something you can feel every moment of the day;
.....Happiness comes in small doses, so just be grateful for that;
.....It's pointless to wish for a Big Hapiness because it won't happen;
Perhaps happiness is overrated."
Well, I found this paragraph somewhat enlightening to me. I always wanted others to be happy and to see them smile. But being happy is such a innate thing, you cant possibly force anyone to feel happy in just a split second right? Well, seeing you guys happy still holds...for what i wish for is a long term happiness in you guys=)
Here's another..." I so yearn to be happy so I want to be happier. The irony is that this hunger and search for happiness is perhaps the reason I often find myself unhappy."
Indeed, the more you ask for something, the least you find yourself attaining that something. In the course, you started to be less satisfy with what you have and that disobey the 'the law of contentment'--( i've invent it:p) It's human instinct to search and ask for more, but something just can't be forced right? So moral behind the story is to let nature take it's course.=)
Last but not least..." What is clearer is that, like most things in life, happiness is subjected to the law of diminishing returns-to attain something you wish for does make you happy, but only up to a point. Beyond that, more and more of that thing adds less and less to you happiness."
Cool, economics principle can also be applied. So true...so true...Are you nodding your head as you read this post? Nay, am not trying to ask you guys to agree with whatever that is stated here, but more of less get the idea of happiness. It cant be force, it can only come naturally=)

Hi everyone!
Speak No Evil, See No Evil, Hear No Evil
I'm getting very bored at home. I hardly open my mouth for the whole days. hai. Long story...
I think we should really take the hint from the picture to it's fullest. Sometimes, we ought to exercise a certain amount of these qualities. That's what distingishes you from a person who lives in the hectic and complicated world.
What matter most to you? What really determines your character? For what i know, what is sound and truthful will stay for the rest will just diminish. It's just a matter of time...and you having a little faith in what you believe in=)
